Some of the songs are rooted in the Hindu "kirtan" tradition, which uses Sanskrit mantras in a call and response format. The Mayan Calendar with ABELARDO RODRIGUEZ  The Mayan Calendar is one of the most controversial topics in the world as we come into 2012 as many people have interpreted it to prophesize the end of the world while many believe it simply speaks of a rebirth in consciousness. While these matters certainly have significance, the true purpose of any calendar is to follow it and allow its secrets to be revealed to you as only you could understand. As yet another aspect of the Tree of Life and emanation of the One Mind, it is only through understanding this tool we have been given and how to use it properly that we may come to synchronize ourselves to galactic emanations which allow us to tap into a much more ancient and multi-dimensional aspect of ourselves.
